Read more about this watch...

Inspired by the most experienced artists in high-end Swiss manufacture, Tudor has made a name for itself in luxury watches. With a growing market seeking for the finest quality in machineries and designs undoubtedly recognizable, this brand has successfully managed to meet a very demanding audience. The history of the Tudor divers' watch dates back to the 1954 and the launch of reference 7922. The first in a long time of ergonomic, legible, accurate and robust divers' watches, it perfectly embodies the approach formulated by the American architect Louis Sullivan. According to him, the form of an object must follow its function. Furthermore, it laid down the aesthetic and technical foundations of an ideal divers' watch: an understated, functional and reliable tool. The 60 years that followed the launch of the original 7922 saw the constant improvement of the Tudor divers' watch and each model gained unanimous acclaim from professionals in the field including some of the greatest military navies in the world. First introduced in 2012, the Black Bay won the Revival Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie in Geneva the following year. Recently added to the Black Bay collection, this spectacular 41mm timepiece, with its burgundy bezel, black dial, rose gold-toned hands and markers and cream coloured liminescent coating has the soft and warm patina of an antique watch. Preserving the brand´s heritage in design and equipped with a manufacture caliber TUDOR MT5602, this luxury watch comes with a steel strap for a sophisticated urban look. The highly sought after vintage look, make this Tudor Black Bay 79230R a must-have piece in every Tudor enthusiast collection!
