Pre-owned Rolex Milgauss Blue Indigo by Blaken Ref. 116400GV, with a 40mm Oyster steel case, smooth steel bezel, electric blue ("Z-blue") dial with indices, green sapphire crystal and automatic movement calibre 3131. Includes a blacksteel Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock folding clasp and Easylink extension system and a blue textil wristband with tang black bucle.

Mint condition. Complete with original Blaken box and papers.

The need of the scientists from the most important particles research lab in the world (the European Organization for Nuclear Research, "CERN") to have a watch able to withstand the magnetic alterations they were exposed to, was enough reason for Rolex to work on it. Provided with an antimagnetic case and high-end technology developed by Rolex, the Milgauss was born (as its name implies, resistant up to 1,000 gauss). Initially, this model was exclusive to the CERN's scientists, but the aesthetics resulting from its design made this watch ideal to be launched to the market in the 60's. Being off catalogue in the late 80's, in 2007 Rolex dazzled the world re-launching of Milgauss with a fresh, bold and multifaceted style. The Blaken Blue Indigo is a masterpiece of the finest Swiss watchmaking genius. It is the watch of choice for researchers who work in physical testing facilities and laboratories featuring strong magnetic fields. Where many other watches fail, the Milgauss continues to work with total reliability. The bright blue fabric wrist band works in harmony with the indigo blue dial.
