As the world became a global territory for industrialization, a growing population in the need to travel between countries boosted civil aviation. In 1953, Rolex was entrusted to design a technical wrist watch specially for Pan Am's crew. The result of this important task was the GMT-Master: able to read the time in two different time zones simultaneously. But as in every Rolex development, this model evolved into the GMT-Master II introducing a third time zone reading feature. Popularly known as the "Pepsi" model for its blue and red lunette, this model reference 126719BLRO belongs to the new generation of Rolex models presented last spring at the Basel World 2019.
