The Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 116710BLNR, widely known among collectors as the “Batman”, is one of the most recognizable versions of the modern GMT-Master II. Featuring its distinctive blue and black colour combination, this model was the first Rolex to feature a two-colour Cerachrom bezel insert made from a single piece of ceramic.

Its 40 mm Oyster case, crafted from Oystersteel, combines polished and satin-finished surfaces and offers the characteristic robustness of Rolex Professional watches. It is equipped with a Triplock winding crown and provides water resistance to 100 metres.

One of its most distinctive features is the bidirectional 24-hour graduated bezel, fitted with a blue and black Cerachrom insert. Combined with the blue GMT hand, it allows the wearer to simultaneously display the time in a second time zone while maintaining excellent legibility both day and night.

The black dial features large hour markers and hands with Chromalight luminescence, together with the characteristic blue GMT hand with triangular tip. The date is positioned at 3 o’clock and displayed beneath Rolex’s traditional Cyclops lens.

At its heart is the Rolex calibre 3186, a self-winding mechanical movement featuring a GMT function and a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. It incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring and allows the local hour hand to be adjusted independently, making it particularly practical for travellers.

The watch is fitted with the classic three-piece Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, featuring polished centre links, an Oysterlock safety clasp and the 5 mm Easylink comfort extension system, allowing quick and convenient adjustment of the bracelet.

This example dates from 2016, is presented in very good condition and comes as a Full Set, complete with its original Rolex box, warranty card, documentation and corresponding accessories.
