Pre-owned IWC Portugieser Chrono-Automatic Ref. IW3714-01, with a 40,90mm steel case, steel bezel, pull-out winding crown, round chronograph push bottons, internal bezel with a quarter-seconds scale with 5-minute/ seconds sectors, silver-plated dial with Arabic numerals, central hands and small seconds marker applied in rose gold, 2 silver subdials: small second at 6 o'clock and minute counter at 12 o'clock. Sapphire crystal and solid steel back case secured with 4 screws and engraved with "International Watch Co.". Automatic movement calibre 79240. Black alligator leather strap with steel deployant clasp and buckle.

Over the last decades, the swiss manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has devoted a big share of their development department to Pilot's watches. Having a very fond relationship with the aircraft industry and as big enthusiasts of renowned pilots, in 1936 they produced the first Pilot's Watch, beginning what will become one of their biggest and most wanted watches' families. The IWC Portugieser Chronograph IWC371401 was introduced in 1998 and it was produced until 2012. The elegant design and moderate height of the case have made the Portuguese Chronograph one of the most sought-after Portuguese models of them all.
