Cartier Santos – Ref. WSSA0039 – Black ADLC – Year 2020 – Full Set – Like New

The Cartier Santos Ref. WSSA0039 is a modern reinterpretation of one of the most iconic watches in horology. Originally designed by Louis Cartier in 1904, the Santos was one of the first wristwatches ever created. This contemporary version enhances its legacy with a more technical and modern aesthetic thanks to its black ADLC-coated steel construction.

The 39.8 × 47.5 mm case features the unmistakable Santos design, with its signature square bezel and exposed screws. In this reference, both the case and bezel are finished in black ADLC, giving the watch a bold and contemporary character.

The black dial perfectly complements the monochromatic design, with luminous hands and markers ensuring excellent legibility. The crown is set with a faceted black synthetic spinel, replacing the traditional blue cabochon for a more modern look.

Inside beats the Cartier calibre 1847 MC automatic movement, offering reliability and everyday practicality.

The watch is delivered with two straps: a black rubber strap and an additional black alligator leather strap, both fitted with a steel deployant clasp. The QuickSwitch system allows easy strap changes.

This 2020 example is in like-new condition and comes as a full set, including its original Cartier box, warranty and complete documentation.
