Lange & Söhne Little Lange 1 Ref. 111.032, with a 36,10mm 18ct rose gold case, 18ct rose gold bezel, silver dial with rose gold Roman numerals, rose gold central hands, double aperture rose gold window for date display at 1 o'clock, power reserve (72-hour) indicator with rose gold hand between 2 and 4 o'clock, small seconds sub-dial with rose gold hand at 5 o'clock. Sapphire crystal and see-through case back. Manual-winding movement calibre L901.0. Black alligator leather strap with 18ct rose gold tang buckle.

From what would be the Sylicon Valley for fine watchmaking, the small town of Glashütte in the German Saxony, has witnessed the birth of the most prestigious brands in the world. Considered by many as the German flagship for luxury watches, A. Lange & Söhne also suffered the impact of WWII and it wasn't until 1990 that the company became under private hands again thanks to the narrow collaboration of Swiss watchmakers like IWC. Nowadays, the company is held by the Richemont group. Although its history and tradition goes back many years ago, it is in the last decades that the company has achieved to contribute with emblematic creations to the luxury watch industry.

Lange 1 is one of the first watch models introduced after A. Lange Söhne was re-established in the 1990s. It is a family of watches that boasts a unique decentralized and assymetrical dial design, as well as the outsize date display. Specifically, the Lange 1 model features an assymetric layout with no overlap among its key indicators: a dial displaying the hours and minutes, a smaller subsidiary dial displaying seconds, an oversized double window date display, and a power reserve indicator. The Lange 1 family is often regarded as one of the most iconic watch designs and has won 45 prizes since 1995.

In 1998 was the introduced of the Small Lange 1, with its smaller case 36,10mm. Through the sapphire case back you can see the high finishing of the movement.
