To celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the milestones in Breitling's history, the first independent chronograph push-piece in a wristwatch, at the 2015 Baselworld the brand presented its commemorative edition of the Transocean Chronograph. As its name suggests, created in 1915 the Transocean became a very popular timepiece among professional pilots for its ability to count laps which was very handy thanks to its independent pusher for start, stop and reset functions. This brilliant creation laid the foundations for future professional wristwatches and became an almost indispensable feature in modern chronographs.
